The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces. Departmental candidates amongst Constables, Head Constables and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Delhi Police with minimum three years’ service and who shall not be more than 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST) of age as on crucial date given at Para may also apply for filling up of Open and Departmental Vacancies of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police-Male. The details of posts are as under


  • Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: The post carries pay scale of Level-6

(Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted),

Non-Ministerial.

  • Sub-Inspector (Executive) - (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: The post

carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as

Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.

(1) Running :

  • Male – 100 Meters in 16 Seconds
  • Female – 100 Meters in 18 Seconds

(2) Shot Put

  • Male – 4.5 Meters in 03 Chances

(3) Long Jump

  • Male – 3.65 Meters in 03 Chances
  • Female – 2.7 Meters in 03 Chances

(4) High Jump

  • Male – 1.2 Meters in 03 Chances
  • Female – 0.9 Meters in 03 Chances
